The Cross of Honor
What qualities make a DeMolay advisor? DeMolay International had a video where they asked DeMolays to share what these qualities were. Some of the answers included someone who was “Patient,” “Tolerant,” “a Friend,” “Quick to Praise,” “Someone I can talk to,” “a teacher,” “a real person, trying to do right” and “a person who likes pizza.”
Different words can be used to describe our outstanding adult volunteers. For 101 years, DeMolay has relied upon the generosity of spirit, caring mentorship, and appreciation for youth of our adult volunteers to make the dream of “Dad” Land a reality. The Cross of Honor was designed to recognize adults who give that precious gift of themselves to the youth in DeMolay. Please congratulate these outstanding adult workers and thank them for their service and dedication.
