We have keys in lots of different colors.
“Dad” Seth C. Anthony, Active Member, has a really good blog about keys here that you may enjoy reading. We have Pink Honor Keys, Blue Honor Keys, Red Honor Keys, Zerubbabel Keys (which are Gray).
The White Honor Key is an interesting piece of history. “Dad” Seth C. Anthony does a neat job on the history of this award . TL?DR? It was earned by Masons for securing ten (10) petitions for a DeMolay Chapter.
The Supreme Council phased it out to focus on young men recruiting. DeMolay is a youth organization, however, and wanted to focus the recognition on the youth. Two years ago the White Honor Key came back. Since 1919, adult mentors have served as the backbone for DeMolay. Recognizing the need for adult volunteers, the White Honor Key became an award for a DeMolay or Senior DeMolay who recruited three new advisors to an advisory council as of June 28, 2018 to present. (Why June 28, 2018? That’s when ISC voted on it.)
If you qualify for this award please drop “Dad” Brusoe a note at PWBrusoe@gmail.com noting which three advisors you recruited.
