My Brothers and Sisters:
In DeMolay, we care about the academic success of every young person in our program. As every New York middle school and high school student knows the regents exams are a fact of life. It’s been two decades since I last sat for a regents exam, but I remember the stress and anxiety as if it was yesterday.
This year with COVID19, Interim Commissioner of Education Tahoe has issued guidance that if you are passing a class that has a regent’s examination in it, you are deemed to have passed the regents exam.

This is the deal of a lifetime! We urge all of our youth to finish this year strong in your classes, pass your classes, earn the regents credit.
If you need help, let us know. We have advisors who teach high school, advisors who hold advanced degrees in the sciences, humanities, mathematics you name it.
“Dad” Land stressed the importance of education to the young men of DeMolay. He was unable to personally finish High School because he had to provide for his family. When “Dad” Marshall was writing the ritual, however, “Dad” Land wanted the schools books to be put in the center of the DeMolay Chapter room to stress the importance of education. Here in New York, we want to make sure everyone is successful.
Good luck New York DeMolay, together we can do this!
