Lets Beat Glossophobia!

Do you know what Glossophobia is?

It’s the scientific word for the “Fear of Public Speaking.” Glosso is the Greek root for tongue and phobia meaning fear. Studies show that anywhere from 60-80% of the American population have some concern or nervousness when it comes to speaking in public. It impacts men, women, the young, the young at heart, you name it.

Science does show that by practicing public speaking

you help to decrease feelings of stress or anxiety that you may be feeling. DeMolay already does this with our ritual which helps with public speaking. Thanks to “Mom” Celentano we are excited to have a Public Speaking Handbook which you can download here.  It’s also on our Members’ Resources Page.

If you would like to practice your public speaking let us know, we would love to help you practice either via an online service, or facetime or videos.

Thank you “Mom” Celentano for this awesome resource!
