State Officer Application Process

State Officer Application Process

New York DeMolay promotes youth leadership and development through a robust state officer program. Young men who have served as Master Councilor or currently serving as Master Councilor are invited to apply to become state officers for 2020-2021.

The application process this year is as follows:

1) Those seeking office should apply using this electronic form after discussing this with their local advisory council and parents or guardians.  The form may be found here and this form is due no later than June 1, 2020. Some young men may find it easier to prepare their answers in word and then paste it into the form. Questions are below to help you do that.

2) After completing the electronic form, the State Chapter Advisor will contact the advisory council chairman to confirm their support for the applicant.

3) The State Chapter Advisor and Personal Representative will meet with the applicant, along with their parents and guardians to discuss the program and their support of their son's application.

4) The Credentials Committee will review the applications and confirm that it meets with the requirements, or where it falls short of the requirements, and notify the applicant by June 16, 2020.
